Free Georgette Heyer Audiobooks
Free Georgette Heyer Audiobooks
Oh, I just discovered this. There are two Georgette Heyer audiobooks you can listen to for free on archive.org. They are read by volunteers and are free to listen to and/or download.
The first is The Black Moth, her first book written when she was a teenager in 1921. This one is read by an American and to my ears sounds strange. It seems like it should be read by someone from Great Britain.
The second is Simon the Coldheart, an early work written in 1925. This one is read by someone from Great Britain and sounds nicer to me.
I have really gotten into audio books recently. I find it is a way to get my chores done and enjoy doing them too. It really makes the work go fast if I have a nice audiobook to listen to.
